The Bortúra App makes discovering and booking Hungary's best wine events, tastings, and winery visits easy, thanks to its seamless UI/UX design. Effortlessly explore local wineries and wine bars with an intuitive interface that offers a smooth user experience, perfect for wine lovers at any level.

Problem Statement

The aim of the collaboration was to solve significant usability problems by connecting winemakers and wine lovers in an efficient and intuitive way.  The primary goal was to find the correct solution for the pain points and redesign the UI and implement new functionality.

Challenge

Challenges included identifying and improving problematic features and interfaces, adding new features and making them user-friendly, and designing a new,  future-proof design library.

Output

The redesign effectively resolved the problematic interfaces, making it easier for new users to understand and navigate the app, while highlighting key features. Additionally, the new design library enhances backend efficiency, offers easier editability, and provides a more precise foundation for future developments.

01 Discovery

Conducted a competitor analysis to assess and understand industry standards. Collected user feedback, focusing on pain points. Assessed user needs, defined target groups, and analyzed market trends.

The User Flow designed for the Bortúra App outlines the possible pathways users may take, from their first login to the purchase of an event or package. The well-structured steps help the users can easily navigate the application, seamlessly select the wine tour. The user flow is not complete, I used only a part of it for the presentation.

✦ Final Result

In the process of redesigning the application, I began with an existing design that featured predefined visual elements. Consequently, I completely redesigned several interfaces, whereas others received only minor refinements.
