About the project
Soulslinger is a roguelike FPS video game set in a dark, wild west version of the afterlife. The challenge was to design a user interface for the fast-paced, responsive gameplay that would not interrupt the gameplay experience, provide informally easy navigation and an outstanding user experience for the players.
My role
I was responsible for the comprehensive UI/UX design of Soulsinger. Collaborating closely with Elder Games, we developed the initial concepts and moods for the game. We then created wireframes and workflows, ensuring alignment with the game’s style. In the later stages, my role encompassed the design of numerous UI elements, various HUD components, and dozens of custom skill icons.
